What We Believe

Simply New Testament Christians

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We are determined to follow it as our only guide in religious matters. We always want to speak where the Bible speaks and to be silent where it is silent. We are careful never to add to nor to take away from Holy Writ (Revelation 22:18-19). We believe that the New Testament is sufficient to instruct us in all our spiritual needs (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3). When we simply preach and teach and obey what the New Testament teaches, we will become just what the early Christians were (Acts 2:37-47).

God's Plan for Salvation

We know that God is "long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Salvation is available to all that will obey Him (Hebrews 5:9).

What must I do to be saved?

  • Hear the Gospel — Romans 10:17
  • Believe the Gospel — Mark 16:15-16; Acts 8:5-12
  • Repent — Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38
  • Confess — Romans 10:9-10
  • Be Baptized for Remission of Sins — Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38
  • Remain Faithful unto Death — I Corinthians 15:58; Revelation 2:10
